Acquiring a new language, career or improvement in academic performance are the few ways to advance in today’s competitive world. The success of our communities lies in educational attainment for all, increase productivity, a strong labor force and increase in resources.
Prevention
Prevention and early intervention are important tools in maintaining the stability and health of our communities today, Bridge of Hope Resource Center, Inc. Believes in targeting, “ Root Causes,” and reducing, “Risk Factors,” responsible for the degradation of today’s families. Utilizing, Evidence Based- Programs, Community and Faith –Based organizations, to deal with and prevent problems associated with youth violence and family dysfunction. The need to improve our communities social structure, minimize adverse activities and improve resources, is not only critical, but vital.
Families raising children today, face many difficult challenges and therefore, need special support and understanding to effectively do their job. Parent-child relationship classes are a great way to teach parents new skills like bonding, infant and toddler basics, home-management, crisis intervention, conflict resolution and social situation training. We at Bridge of Hope Resource Center, Inc. , believe that, addressing problems at the early start, can prevent them from becoming a more serious concern later on.
Advocacy
Bridge of Hope Resource Center, Inc. fights for issues which have a major impact in people’s lives. For years we have been effective in addressing social injustice and inequality for the poor. Drafting the Therapeutic Center Bill, which would help vulnerable populations prevent and address youth violence and family dysfunction in their communities.
